I've been researching my family tree for many years...lots of computer crashes, lots of lost digital data. Time to start all over in collecting the records and storing them somewhere safe. Wish to exchange family information with others so we learn how we all fit into the puzzle.

I've been doing genealogy research for nearly 30 years. My father was a Kelly who descends from Andrew and Dolly (Coleman) Kelly of Greene Co., TN and Estill Co., KY. Some of Andrew and Dolly's children moved to Boone Co., MO and on to Beckham Co., OK.
Mom's maiden name was Eoff from Vincennes, Indiana area. I've not been able to find out where my Eoff ancestors came from before going to Indiana, though some census records points to North Carolina and Virginia while other records seem to point to Arkansas and Missouri.
I've been doing genealogy on my family for more than 20 years; but, through several computer crashes have lost many digital files as well as ged.com. New non-win os is not compatible with disk backups so I'll have to start over with all that.
I was born to James and Donna (Eoff) Kelly in the 1950's in Hammond, IN. James Kelly's parents are James and Hanna C. (Miles) Kelly. Donna's parents are William Sanford "Jake" and Ethel Mae (Phillips) Eoff.
I have 4 children, 6 grandchildren and the 2nd great grandchild is due this month. It is my hope to leave this record of their family roots for them and the generations to come.

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.
It looks like US History would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Changing your tag to United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.
Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)
