WILLIAM KELLY The death occurred at his home, Soho-Street, Cooma, on Wednesday, 29th May, following a lengthy illness, of Mr. William Kelly, at the advanced age of 89 years. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kelly of Ironmongie, where he was born, and had spent all his life on Monaro, except for periods in his earlier days when he went to other parts shearing. He was well known in the Berridale and Cooma districts and was well respected by a wide circle of friends. He was married at St. Mary's C. of E., Gegedzerick, to Annie, eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Murphy, of Berridale. He leaves to mourn their loss four sons, Percy, Norman (Berridale), Howard (Kendall) and Cecil (Sydney), three daughters, Mrs. A. Weston (Alice), Westonlea, Berridale; Mrs. E. Watling (Hesby), Tumut; and Mrs. C. Yates (Ruby), Tighe's Hill, Newcastle), a a brother, James (Riverside, Cooma), a sister, Mrs. Smith (Mary), Sydney; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One daughter predeceased him.
