WEDDING.
KELLY—BLACK.
A quiet but pretty wedding, preceded by Nuptial Mass at 8 a.m., was celebrated at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Melbourne, on April 16th, when Bridie Kelly, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kelly, of Warragul, was united in holy matrimony to Mr. W. Black, twin son of Mr. and Mrs. Black, of Douglas Parade, Newport. The happy bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Willie Kelly, and the best man was Mr. J. Black, twin brother of the bridegroom. There was a quiet wedding breakfast at the Ambassadors, after which the bride and bridegroom left for Wangaratta and Buffalo for their honeymoon.
The young couple were the recipients of a number of beautiful presents and a number of substantial cheques. The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Black will be The Strand, Newport. [3]

According to online burial records, Brigid Josephine Black passed away 11th July, 1998. Following a service held 14th July, her remains were interred in the Williamstown Lawn Cemetery where she joined her husband, who had predeceased her in 1991, and her niece, Genevieve Annie Black.[4]
