Thomas Kelsey was born on 20 May 1799 near Chester, New Jersey, the son of Jabez Kelsey and his wife Sarah Corwin.[1]
Clara Hamilton and Thomas Kelsey were married in Tompkins County, New York, on 12 Jan 1828. They had 7 children, all born in Tompkins County, New York:[2]
Charles Torrey, b. 19 Oct 1828; d. 8 Oct 1893
Sara Elizabeth, b. 12 May 1831; d. 5 Nov 1890
Dana E., b. 27 Jan 1835; m. Unknown 25 Nov 1885 at Carthage, Missouri; d. 30 Aug 1890. He was a doctor and served in the Civil War.
Thomas Kelsey died on 14 March 1885 in Tompkins County, New York.[2]
