Hannah's mother died in 1800 when she was only 2 [2] and her father died in April 1819 shortly before her 21st birthday [3]
Hannah married George Kelson son of George Kelson (1764-1837) and Sarah Boulter (born about 1770). Hannah was George's cousin - their fathers being brothers. A licence was issued at Bath on 4 December 1819 on the request of George's father George and James Bush. [4] The wedding took place at All Saint's Farmborough on 9 December 1819 [5] There were five children from the marriage.
Frances, Sarah and George all married children of Joseph and Elizabeth Butler.
Hannah's husband George died at Farmborough and was buried on 16 August 1837. [6]
At the 1841 census Hannah is living with her 4 surviving children and a governess in Farmborough [7] At the 1851 Census Hannah and children Frances, Sarah and Thomas are living at The Green, Farmborough. [8]
Hannah died on 31 March 1851 aged 53. [9] She was buried on 8 April 1851 with her husband George. [10] Son George was buried in the same grave 10 years later [9]
