Martha's Father Elias Kelton gave permission for her to marry Johannas Sibert in Garden City Alabama in 25 June1888 they were living in the home of W.M. Keith at the time. He is the father-in-law of Emma's sister Mary Frances Kelton Keith. The 1880 census for Hall County Georgia list Elish head age 32. Occ farmer

All born in Geogria From family's have learned the sibling's names Edna, Charles, Mary Frances (Fannie), John Fletcher, Lytle Alexander (Dock), Avie, Alma Lou, James Lester, and Joseph.

This would make her 14 at the time of the marriage. Irene told my mother she was three years old when they left Alabama to Oklahoma then on to Texas. They were back in Alabama in 1907/1908 May was born there in 1908 then the fifth child was born in Loco, Oklahoma in 1911. There they settled in Archer county Texas, In the Family there is a photo of Rice Ranch School/ Church where services were held, The ranch was owned and operated by the men who worked there, it is believed that John worked there and Emma taught the other children there.
