Gilbert Kelly married Eliza Ann Kemp about 1866 - 1867. The couple had children: James Gilbert, Olivia, Charles Jordan, Caroline, Nellie Maud, Margaret, and Allan Arthur Harcourt Kelly.
Eliza Ann Kelly died at 92 years of age and is buried at Wesley Methodist Church Cemetery in Harbour Island. Will written 22 February 1928.
