Andrew has passionately been undertaking genealogy over the past 15 years. After many years of trying to break down his Kemp brick wall and through making many Kemp connections worldwide, Andrew decided to expand his research.

I have just spent the afternoon thoroughly enjoying perusing your wonderful KEMP one-name study (ONS). I have found my connection and I am delighted. If I could be of any assistance with providing additional information with regards to the children of Elenor Rebecca Kemp and Simon Peter Potter I would be very happy to if welcomed. Thank you again for this wonderful link!

Thank you so much, Andrew, for your kind email offering to help me with my 'Kemp' connection. I have been told that Elenor Rebecca (Kemp) Potter was my 2 x great-grandmother, on my father's mother's side?? She was married to Simon Peter Potter. I am showing her father as Joseph Kemp and her mother as Mary-Ann (Cunningham) Kemp. Would love any help or information with regards to this connection. I am very new to all of this and truly wish to have my family tree be accurate. Thank you again and I look forward to hearing from you!

Good afternoon Andrew,

Thanks very much for the link to the Kemp one-name study. There is an interesting potential link on one of your James Kemp descendants. I have found sources that say several of the dunbartonshire Kemp's originated from Ireland. However although I can place them in a I think the 1850s census as Kemps (my name) the subsequent census the name has changed to Kemp. I unfortunately don't have the link actually link to added them to my tree as the Irish records are limited.

If i can help you or like wise, I would be happy to.

Hi Andrew,

If you would like I am happy to change over PM to you on the Camp profiles that I have created. I am not super closely related and will probably end up orphaning as my Watchlist grows to make sure I don't exceed the amount of folks. Of course I make sure they are properly sourced before orphaning and keep them a couple of weeks to make sure there aren't any issues that cause them to pop on the error reports. If not, that's totally fine too, but thought I would offer! ;)

Just let me know.

Thanks! NJ
