Thanks very much for the link to the Kemp one-name study. There is an interesting potential link on one of your James Kemp descendants. I have found sources that say several of the dunbartonshire Kemp's originated from Ireland. However although I can place them in a I think the 1850s census as Kemps (my name) the subsequent census the name has changed to Kemp. I unfortunately don't have the link actually link to added them to my tree as the Irish records are limited.
If i can help you or like wise, I would be happy to.

If you would like I am happy to change over PM to you on the Camp profiles that I have created. I am not super closely related and will probably end up orphaning as my Watchlist grows to make sure I don't exceed the amount of folks. Of course I make sure they are properly sourced before orphaning and keep them a couple of weeks to make sure there aren't any issues that cause them to pop on the error reports. If not, that's totally fine too, but thought I would offer! ;)
Just let me know.
