Private William Kemp served with Middlesex County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
William Kemp is the son of Hezekiah and Rebecca (unknown). He was born in Groton Ma in 1755. He married Emma Farnsworth and they moved to Shelburne MA and had ten children. He died of a "putrid fever" in 1806 at 51 years old, leaving behind an "affectionate wife and ten children."
