Biography
When James Kemp was born on 25 December 1841 in Alfreton, Derbyshire, his father, James, was 31 and his mother, Hannah, was 22. He married Harriet Walker on 20 December 1870. They had no children. They lived in Calow, Derbyshire & later Sheffield. He had six brothers and seven sisters.
