Biography
Christian was born about 1864 in St. Clair, Illinois. He married Lizzie Vogel in 1886. Christian worked as a coal miner while Lizzie kept house and cared for their five children. After a family breach, he moved to Orange Co., California. In 1920, he was working as an ? engineer at a ? plant and rooming in Buena Park. (Census writing unclear). 1940 saw him retired and rooming in the then unincorporated Costa Mesa. He passed away in 1943.
