DNA testing was not popularized before the 1980’s so it is hard to understand how you are able to indicate that "DNA has been tested" on each of the following profiles:

James Kendrick ? (1730s-1790s) Kendrick-30 William Kendrick ? (1750s-1830s) Kendrick-761 John Kendrick ? (1810s-1890s) Kendrick-760 James Kendrick ? (1860s-1900s) Kendrick-759 Bonnie Kendrick ? (1890s-1950s) Kendrick-392

If this is somehow truly the case, would you please provide the appropriate test details for each person (i.e., Y-chromosome haplogroup, Number of markers that were tested, Ysearch ID, and Family Tree DNA kit number).

Hmm...

WikiTree has confusing instructions about posting DNA test information. It's possible that when you checked a box on those other profiles to indicate that you were tested, the system interpreted it to mean that the other person had been tested.

I poked around to figure out how to remove erroneous tests from a profile. Only a profile manager can do this. Go to the profile of someone who didn't have a DNA test, click on "Add" in the menu on the top of the screen, and select "DNA Test Information." You will get a screen that includes an option to "Delete." Choose it (you may have to choose it once for each of the three different tessts), and within about 24 hours the test is supposed to stop appearing on their profile. However, your tests should still show up on profiles for the people who are calculated to have a discernible DNA match with you.

Maybe you should try this on a couple of profiles to see what happens before you visit the whole list of profiles.

Hi Lionel, Do you understand that information about DNA tests is to be entered only on the profile of the person who took the DNA test? It looks like you've entered DNA test information for your ancestors who died long before DNA tests were available. Let me know if I can help you understand how we use DNA here on WIkiTree. Thanks! Kay Wilson.
