Samuel G Kennedy was born on January 8, 1883 in Henderson, Tennessee, United States, son of Hugh Johnson Kennedy (1833–1899) and Minerva Jane Austin (~1840–~1912).

Sam married Annie Denton (born on March 9, 1886 in Lexington, Henderson). [1]

Sam died on November 10, 1950 in Arkansas, United States, aged 67. He was buried in Nettleton Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas.[2][3]
