Julia was born in October 1880 in Dunmore, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, USA. Her parents were Martin Kennedy and Margaret Drury.[1]
She married John Joseph Lavelle (1878-1937) on 29 June 1904 in Scranton, Lackawanna County. They had one son who was stillborn in 1906.[2]
In 1920 they were living in Tanners Creek, Norfolk, Virginia, United States. By 1930 they had moved to Miami, Dade, Florida, United States. John was working as a tile setter for a home builder until 1937 when he died from pneumonia.[3]
Julia died in December 1956 in Hahenmann Hospital in Scranton, Lackawanna County. She was buried in Cathedral Cemetery.[1]
