John was born about 1860.
Recorded as a ship builder on his marriage.[1]
Divorce was granted in 1921. "Jno Kennedy petitioned for a divorce from his wife Agnes Clark Kennedy on the ground of desertion for several years Mr C D Cuthbert (Murdoch, Jones and Cuthbert) appeared for the petitioner, and there was no appearance of the respondent. Evidence for the petitioner showed that the respondent left her husband without assigning any reason, and went to live elsewhere. Decree nisi granted, returnable in six months."[2]
