Elizabeth married Sir John Cathcart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Hugh Cathcart, 1st Bt. and unknown daughter Broun, on 30 May 1729.[2] Sources have marriage date as 24 Jul 1729 in Dailly, Ayrshire, Scotland. John Baronet Cathcart's parents are listed as Hugh Baronet Cathcart and Broun. Elizabeth's parents are listed as John Baronet Kennedy and Jean Douglas. [1] After her marriage, her married name became Cathcart.[2]
She passed away in 1742 .at Killochan Castle, Girvan, South Ayrshire, Scotland.
