When Patrick Edward Kennedy was born on July 14, 1886, his father, John, was 42 and his mother, Sarah, was 31. He married Ethel Charlotte Girardot on November 9, 1916, in Denver, Colorado. They had six children in 13 years. He died on January 17, 1953, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 66, and was buried in Golden, Colorado.
