Jackie L. Kennedy Jr., age 27, a carpenter, of Mendenhall died April 26, 2002 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Simpson County.

Funeral services were held April 28 in the chapel of Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in Magee with interment in the Womack Cemetery in Magee.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Garner Kennedy; sons, Joshua Garner and Timothy Brandon Garner, both of Mendenhall; a daughter, Linda Darnell Marie Kennedy of Mendenhall; his parents, Jackie Kennedy Sr. of Magee and Sonia Patterson Burcham of Mendenhall; a brother, Jerry Wayne Burcham of Mendenhall; a sister, Melody Burcham Bain of Rankin Co.; paternal grandmother, Virginia Kennedy of Magee; maternal grandmother, Frankie Rainer of Braxton; and step-father, Jerry Wayne Burcham Sr. of Mendenhall.
