Recorded in the 1901 census as Working as an office clerk in Winnipeg and is recorded as earning 0.00 a year The city directory for various periods from 1931 to 1942 showed that Amelia was employed as a cashier for the Singer Sewing machine co and resided with her sister Julia and her family (Callahan) at 197 home street in Winnipeg. The last entry for her was in 1942. She may have died that year or in 1943.[2]
