Biography

Catherine was born about 1872.

1901 Irish Census: living with her parents and 2 brothers in Spring Grove. Age recorded as 26 years. Occupation recorded as shepherds daughter[1]

1906 Married Thomas Duffy at Kilquain (Quansboro) Church. Witnesses were Bridget Curley and John Keating[2]

1911 Irish Census: living in Cloonmaskery with her Husband, 2 children, brother-in-law and a servant. Age recorded as 40 years[3]

1933 Death reported by her daughter May Duffy. She was a 62 year old widow. Occupation recorded as merchant. Cause of death recorded as "carcinoma of the colon, obstructive, suppression, uraemia. Certified"[4]

1933 Burial in Kilquain (Quansboro) Cemetery[5]
