Death Notice

George Allyn Kent, 43, a native of Buffalo, died Thursday at Decatur, Ill., where he was office manager for the Archer-Daniels Midland Co. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon in Decatur.

Mr. Kent is survived by his wife the former Dorothy Davis of Buffalo, a son, George Allyn Kent Jr., and two brothers, LeRoy Kent, Buffalo and Charles H. Kent, St. Louis, Missouri. (Source: Buffalo Courier Express, July 12, 1947, pg. 14)
