Mrs. Henningfeld's Funeral on Friday

Mrs. Wright Henningfeld passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital at Le Mars last Friday night, after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p. m. at the Methodist church. Source: Rock Valley Bee 12/25/1952

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Wright Henningfeld were held in the Methodist church at Rock Valley at 2 p. m. on Friday, Dec. 20 with Rev. M. L. Jones officiating. Miss Helen Long and Miss Kae Kessler sang appropriate hymns and Mrs. Jones acted as organist. Pallbearers were Ed Postma, Sam Van Voorst, Harry Hauser, Clarence Van’t Hull, Elmer Miller and Thomas McGill.

Emma Wright Henningfeld was born in Indiana 84 years ago. She lived at Early, Iowa, for many years and then came to Rock Valley where she resided until the time of her death on Dec. 20, 1952, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Le Mars, Iowa.

She left surviving her one son, Orlo Wright, and three grandchildren who live in San Diego, Ca.

She also left surviving her one sister, Rose Sibley of Eugene, Ore.; and three brothers, J.W. Kent of Auburn, Iowa, Frank Kent of Rapid City, S.D, and Homer Kent of New Richmond, Wis.
