Biography

Hannah (also known as Ann) Kenwright was born in about 1775 in Widnes, Lancashire.

Hannah's son Jonathan Kenwright, whose father was Peter Hosker, was christened on 28 Oct 1798 at Sankey Chapel in Great Sankey, Lancashire.

Hannah married Peter Hosker on 3 Dec 1798 at the church of St Mary the Virgin in Prescot, Lancashire. Both were of Bold, and neither had been married before; Peter was a husbandman. The witnesses were John Roughsedge and Jane Hosker.

Peter and Hannah's son Richard was christened on 17 Nov 1799 at Sankey Chapel in Great Sankey, Lancashire.

Their son Peter was christened on 28 Mar 1802 at Sankey Chapel in Great Sankey, Lancashire.

Their daughter Alice was christened on 24 Feb 1805 at Farnworth Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. The family's address was recorded as Bold.

Another son Peter was christened on 1 Jun 1806 at Farnworth Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. The family's address was recorded as Bold.

Their son James was christened on 20 Nov 1808 at Farnworth Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. The family's address was recorded as Bold.

Hannah died in 1854, and was buried on 15 Dec 1854 at Farnworth Chapel; her age was recorded as 79, and her address as Eccleston.
