William Chester Kenyon was born on April 1, 1758 in Richmond, Washington County, Rhode Island Colony, son of David Kenyon (1724–1781) and Mary Potter (1725–1774).
William was a sergeant in the Revolutionary War, 2d NY Battalion.
He first married Rhosanna Reynolds and married second Mary "Polly" Saunders. Rhode Island Births and Christenings, 1600-1914.
William (42) married Mary Saunders (33) (born about July 10, 1767 in Westerly, Washington; daughter of Capt. Peleg Saunders and Mary (Clarke) Saunders) in 1801.
William married Martha Burdick (born on April 11, 1770 in Hopkinton, Washington, Rhode Island; daughter of Amos Burdick and Elizabeth (Nichols) Burdick).[1] Their daughter was Almira Kenyon (1813–1860).
His other children were:
William died on June 19, 1837 in Thurman, Warren County, New York, United States, aged 79. He was buried in Reynolds Cemetery, (Kenyontown), Warren County, New York[2] [3] from Genealogical and Biographical Record of New London County, Connecticut[1]

Mary Saunders is the daughter of Peleg Saunders (1737-1822) and Mary Clarke (1741-1803). She was born on July 10, 1767 and died on Sept 15, 1839. William Kenyon was her second husband.
