Biography

Abraham Kenyon was born in Lancashire, England.

Abraham was born about 1847. He was the son of Henry Kenyon and Alice Booth. ^{[1] [2]}

The family lived in Bury, but moved to Fern Grove, Accrington in the mid-1850s.^[3]

On 29 Dec 1870, at St James, Accrington, he married Mary Smalley. He was a moulder age 24 of Fern Grove, Accrington. She was a weaver age 29 of Fox Street, daughter of Thomas Smalley, Bleacher. ^[4]

In 1872 he married Elizabeth Ingham. ^[5]

He passed away in 1897. ^[6] There does not appear to have been any surviving issue.

Figuring these two marriages to both be the same Abraham; as it is a rare combination of forenames, and only one such person in the censuses -- with continuity of age and profession.
