John was christened 19 June 1864 in Lonan, Isle of Man, the son of Thomas Kermeen, a labourer living at Dhooin, Maughold, and his wife Jane Kelly.
John married Elizabeth Eleanor Vick at Braddan, Isle of Man on 12 Oct 1889.[1]
In the 1889 Census he is living with Elizabeth, their baby son, Earnest at Braddan. He is a farm labourer. His older sister, Eleanor Kermeen is part of the household.
He died in hospital in Douglas after he was tragically impaled on a metal spike while working on his employer's farm.[2]
