Biography
Samuel was under age 14 when his mother, Rachel was appointed to be his guardian in March 1831. He was married to Clarissa Pirkey by 1850, but died in the 1860s, leaving no children. He was living next to his mother in the 1850 and 1860 censuses of Shenandoah County.
