Samuel Kernaghan was born about 1825, possibly in Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland. He was the son of William Kernaghan.
Samuel married Sarah Wilson on 20 Nov 1845 at Craigs Parish Church, Co. Antrim[1]. They had at least 4 children.
Samuel died in 1880 age 55 at Ballyconnelly, Co. Antrim[2]. His daughter Jane Woodrow was present at the death.
