Biography

William Kernohan (also spelled Kernoghan and other variations) was born about 1833 at the family farm at Lisbreen, County Antrim, Ireland. He was the son of James Kernoghan and Nancy Crawford.

William married Anne Brown on 21 Aug 1871 at 3rd Ballymena Presbyterian Church, Co. Antrim[1]. They do not appear to have had any children.

In the 1901 Ireland census, William was age 68 living at Legnagooly, Co. Antrim with his wife Anne Kernohan (66), niece Annie Brown (20). Occupation Farmer[2].

William died in 1906 age 73 at Lisbreen[3] and was buried at First Broughshane Presbyterian Church[4].
