This profile exists to represent the relationship that David Kerr (abt.1831-1911) was the nephew of James Kerr (abt.1810-1886); David being the latter's death informant. They were Presbyterians.
Nothing else is known of him.
His children David and William are recorded as farming at Castlehill in County Donegal: a hill topped by the ruins of Burt Castle.
In the 1901 census for Carrowreagh, Burt, there is a Samuel Kerr widower age 76, servant, Presbyterian. Could be another grandchild, although none of the marriages for Samuel Kerr in Londonderry SRD look convincing.
The Grange Cemetery has a headstone transcribed as "In Loving Memory of The Kerr Family, Castlehill"; no further information is given by the transcription.
Unknown Kerr (abt.1810-) of Tonyhabboc could be a son.
I checked all the Kerr marriages SRD Londonderry 1845-1872 looking for Tonyhabboc, Grange or Castlehill: (this list excludes profiles already created)
