Biography

Gilbert Andrew Kerr Macbryde was born in 1894. He is the son of Peter Kerr Macbryde and Elizabeth Mew. [1]

Gilbert enlisted on 27 January 1917, and served with the Australian Army, during World War I. He served with the 57th Battalion, 14th Machine Gun Company. Sadly Gilbert died from wounds on 17 August 1918 at France.
