Dickinson was born in 1873. He was the son of Alfred Kershaw and Martha Robertshaw. He passed away in 1898.
Traveled on the Single-Screw Steamship the Wisconsin, departing from Liverpool on 19 Sep 1877 and arriving in New York on 29 Sep 1877.[1]
After arriving in New York, boarded the Pennsylvania Railway, traveling first to Chicago then onto Council Bluffs. Here they changed train cars for the trip on the Ogden and Salt Lake train. They traveled 1,052 miles stopping in Laramie, Evanston, Ogden and arriving in Salt Lake midnight on 6 Oct 1877.[2]
