Buettner of 321 Broad Street to William J. Kershenstein of Detroit, Mich., formerly Johnstown, was solemnized at a pretty ceremony yesterday morning in the Immaculate Conceptions Catholic Church. Rev. Father Louis M. Maucher read the service.
Attendants were Miss Anna J. McDonald of Portage and Leo J. Buettner, brother of the bride. The former Miss Buettner was attired in a dark blue suit with a corsage of yellow roses.
The bride is a daughter of the late Peter J. and Mary P. Buettner. Her husband is a son of John Kershenstein of 275 Decker Avenue. Mr. and Mrs. William Kershenstein were schoolmates at the Immaculate Conception Parochial School.
Mrs. Kershenstein graduated from Johnstown High School and attended the dental school of the University of Pittsburgh. She had been working as an assistant to her brother, Dr. C. A. Buettner, for some time. Her husband is employed by the Packard Motor Company in Detroit.
The couple left yesterday for Detroit, where they will reside.[7]
