Biography

Cornelius was born about 1825 in Rowan County, North Carolina, the of known children and sons of Christian Elizabeth Eller Kesler.
On 29 Jul 1845, when he was about twenty years old, Cornelius married Anne Catherine Hartman in Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina, and they had six known children, three sons and three daughters:
  1. Sophia Elizabeth (Kesler) Kluttz,
  2. William H A Kesler
  3. Mary Luretta (Kesler) Agner
  4. Henry A Kesler
  5. Barbara Lavina (Kesler) Poole
  6. Lewis Alexander Kesler
On 30 March 1893, when he was in his late sixties Cornelius died of unknown causes in Rowan County, North Carolina.
