Hi, Virgil - I found numerous sources (death record, Census Records) at Family Search...Roy Edwin Kester 5 October 1890 – 28 January 1940 LHTF-NWV, but wasn't able to add them due to the privacy level.
Thank you Victoria, I try to check as many profiles each year for new online sources. For Roy I have in my own data base numerous sources, those 7 on FamilySearch and many more. Years ago I was advised to try to just keep sources to those found online, which I have been trying to do. In FamilySearch of the 7, one was on the profile already, leaving 6: 1900 Census, 1910 Census, WWI Draft, 1920 Census, and 1930 Census. I have placed all of those into the profile, and in doing that I also added most to other family members included in the same source. Thanks again, Virgil
You are most welcome...I understand trying to keep up with new sources going online. I came across this one because of a large number of profiles which have been orphaned. A profile manager had asked me if I was interested in adopting them, as she was searching for someone to take them on. Many of them are in the Kester line, which led me to this profile. I was taking a look at Welthy Pierson and her husband Henry Cook. When I used the relationship finder, there were quite a few Kesters in the relationship lines, which eventually come to my family line (Pierson). You and I are 16th cousins, 3X removed.
I wish I could say there was a reunion, but with you on the west coast and me in Ohio, I don't think the twain will ever meet. I only have one sister left in my family here, and my father's only Pierson grandson will never marry, so it's the end of the line for us here. But there are so many Piersons who were born here and have spread out all over the US, I'm sure they will go on forever. It seems like any Pierson I enter into the relationship finder is related to me directly or by marriage. And that's a lot of Piersons, Pearsons, Pehrsons, Peersons, etc. I remember my dad saying that we had a small family...LOL!! He didn't have a clue...Best regards, Vikki
