Priscilla Key was born about 1842 - probably in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas - to Nathan Key Jr. and Charlotte Russell Key. She was the sister of Catherine Key, who married Samuel Hewlett, brother of Townsend Hewlett.
She married John Alexander Hewlett, son of Townsend Edmund Hewlett and Sarah Ann Key Hewlett, about 1860 in the Bahama Islands. The couple had two children: John Alexander Hewlett Jr and William Hewlett (who died in his infancy).
Priscilla died in Abaco, Bahamas about/before 1865. Her widowed husband married Susan Rocilli Weatherford Saunders about 1865-1866 in Abaco.
