(Benjamin) Anderson Key married about 1824 in Overton, Tennessee, USA to Mary "Polly" Ann Newberry, daughter of Sarah (Chambers) and Steven Newberry.

In 1806 parts of Indian lands and Jackson County went into the formation of Overton County, Tennessee, USA.

He passed away about 1890 in Overton, Tennessee, USA.
