Son of Joseph Stanton & Susie McIntosh (SNIDER) KEY, who married 15 JAN 1851 in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia - Joseph married second on 05 MAY 1893 to Mrs. Lucy Ann (THORNTON) KIDD. Howard Walton Key KEY married 22 DEC 1874 to Ozella Ann BIGGERS, with whom he had seven children. Howard was a Methodist minister (his father was a Bishop in the Methodist church).
