Biography

Janie was born about 1878. Her family moved, at some time after she was born, to Calloway, Kentucky, where the family was censused in 1880. After teh census, they moved back to Henry, Tennessee, where her father died that same year. She would have been about 12. Her mother remarried in 1889 to John S. Cole. Janie married the following year to John's son, Dock. She and Dock moved to Calloway, Tennesse before the 1910 census. Then at some point after that, to Pulaski, Arknasas, where she passed away in 1938.
