John Lee Kibler was born in Warren County, Virginia on January 17, 1893. He was the son of John Kibler and Jennie Matthews.

John married Myrtle Nash in 1917.

John died in Dinwiddie, Virginia on August 11, 1979, and was buried in Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, Virginia.^[1]
