Hello again Rita, sorry to have to do this again but in the interests of accuracy you have Ellen Vosgraf incorrectly named as Ellen. Perhaps she only used her second christian name during her life but according to the BD&M Records She was named After her birth registration as Bridget Ellen and she is so named in her father's death registration (1900/5284), as surviving issue, That listing was as given by the informant,Thomas Ryan (No relation ) James (39), William(37), Hugh Benjamin(31),Hannah Teresa (30), Alfred Christopher (28),Bridget Ellen (26), Thomas Henry (24), Charles (22), Albert Edward, (20), (2 females decd. my note The decd. females were Elizabeth and Jane, each of whom were unnamed at birth on 26/01/1864 (Jane) and 28/08/1865 (Elizabeth)' they each died of pericarditis and their deaths are registered as 1889/ 8017and8018 and the dates recorded are 13/03/ and 10/ 04 18830

Hi Rita,

Just a note to let you know that I have disconnected Rae-1081 from our part of the tree. I was very surprised to discover his burial amongst the Leith baptismal records. He died aged three weeks with his father being described as a "Labouring man from the Scenes" (now Sciennes) which corresponds to the information given for his father ("Labourer in Sheens") at his 29 August 1791 birth in Edinburgh.

Sorry to have so many duplicates for you to merge.

I'm not sure if you have Dame Margaret Kidd in your list? She was quite a trailblazer - first female KC in Scotland!

Thanks for your information about Arthur Walter Mitchell. I have added a reference to the Queensland index of his death registration. I note you cite the exact date of death which does not show in the online Queensland index to which I have access. I was wondering where you found the exact death date? Best wishes, Michael

Hi Rita,

No problem at all. It is always nice when you find an overlap with your tree. I do not have many photos but I am hoping to add some biographies soon with some more details and some images of the sources.

Particularly the ship records. I am hoping this makes some of the information more accessible

PS I have just added the record relevant to Anne Catherine (Kilfoyle) Smyth for you to see to satisfy your curiosity. I hope it is appropriate. I have also added a portrait of her most likely from the late 1800s.
