DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:
On further review, I think I understand where the two Nancys came from, as he was married to two different Nancy's. I'm still unclear as to his birth date, death date and parents. I think Elias Kidd is correct, I may have found Margaret Kidd (Bagley) as a parent, but I haven't found actual firm records as of yet.
I would like to do some work to clean up George Washington Kidd (Kidd-415)'s profile. It seems we have two different Nancy's he is married to. Or perhaps he was, but I'm having some difficulty tracking down the exact person. I found records of GW Kidd in the 1840, 1850, and 1860 Census with matching children, but there is some conflicting information with a Death Record in 1870, and a Census record in 1870 and 1880 in Wayne Co. If anyone has any better info on this, please let me know.
