Biography
Cornet Thomas Kidder served with Middlesex County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
Thomas was born on 2 February 1718 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. He was the son of Thomas Kidder (1690-1729) and Joanna (Keyes) Fitch (1695-1787).[1]
He married first Elizabeth Wheeler, daughter of Edward & Elizabeth (Herrick) Wheeler, on 18 Jul 1741 at Littleton, Massachusetts.[2] They were the parents of Elizabeth, Isaiah, James, Sarah and Thomas Kidder
After the death of wife Elizabeth he married Mary Fletcher, daughter of Samuel & Mary (Lawrence) Fletcher, on 21 Jun 1790 at Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[3]
He was a Cornet (2nd Lieut.) in the Revolutionary War.[4]
Thomas died at age 74 on 31 January 1793 in Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States.[5] He is buried at Fairview Cemetery, Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[6]
