Hiernoymus Hansson Kielling was born 1684 or 1690 in Vadstena stad, Östergötland, Sweden to Hans Hermansson Kielling and his wife Elisabet Bark.
Hieronymus came to Stockholm to learn brass foundery (sv. gällgjuteri = gelbgjuteri: koppar eller mässingsgjuteri). He was an apprentice when he married Catharina Hansdotter Wessman on September 14, 1718 in Stockholm, Sweden.[1]We find him as musketeer/musketerare in Captain Riddestråle's company at Svea livgarde in 1718 however.[2] Perhaps he changed his mind and needed an income to marry. They had daughter Anna Elisabeth born in 1720 while they lived in Stockholm.
He was a musketeer in Svea Livgarde September 1718 - October 1719, and was then reassigned as rope hand/trossdräng from Oct 1719.
The family came to Skultuna from Stockholm in 1724.
He find Hiernoymus and his wife in Mässingsbruket (The Brass foundy) in Skultuna in the household book/katekeslängd covering 1708-1734[3]
They had four children according to his and his wife's death records. We know of three: Anna Elisabeth b. 1720 in Stockholm, Olof b. ? and Hieronymus b. 1728 in Skultuna.
Hieronymus passed away from old age on July 9, 1756 in Skultuna. He was buried on July 18, 1756.[4]
