Thanks for the comment about Eunice Hayes, although you subsequently deleted it. There clearly is a problem. I'm looking into it.

Cathy, I can't fix the John Rogers problem (wrong father) because one of the profiles is PPPd. I have asked Jillaine to look at it. Vic

Thank you Kathy. I left messages on the site for Suzannah M. and also handled the issue with Hulda and Tabitha's births. We have birth certs for all the children that are listed. The birth dates are correct. There is no location on her "find a grave" documentation so where I got the prior information I don't know. It could have been a mistake I made moving too fast when I entered all my family pages in. Thank you again!
Thank you for your comment for William Hooker, Hooker-403, I have removed myself as manager.

Hi Cathy,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hello Cathy and welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is unlike any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, so we all work together as one collaborative team.

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to tell us about your genealogical interests as you join.

Once you volunteer to help build our global tree, our greeters will confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.

Marshall, a volunteer greeter
