Biography

Fay Stanley Kilbourn was born June 14, 1890 in Clarion, (Wright County), Iowa to Fred Kilbourn and Ada Younker. The date and location of birth are confirmed by Fay's WWI draft registration, a photocopy of which can be viewed at FamilySearch.org https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-G17R-9GWS . On the draft registration form, Fay gives his age as 26, and states that he has a wife and one son. [1]

Fay Kilbourn ("Kilburn") can be found at the age of 9 on the 1900 US census for Grant Twp., Wright County, Iowa, along with his parents, his 7 siblings, and a 15-year old boy who is apparently helping on the farm.
