Biography

Isaac Killam was born January 27, 1818, the son of son of Mark Killam and Abigail Mattingly of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia^[1]

On April 29, 1841, he married Annie Patten, daughter of Nathan Patten and Lucy Bridgeo^{[1] [2] [3]}. Their children included:

1. Richard Patten Killam born on 9 Apr 1842, who died July 29, 1844^[1]
2. Ruben Killam, born on 27 Jul 1843, who was last heard from in Philadelphia in 1865^[1]
3. Richard Patten Killam, born January 22, 1845, who married Maria Anne Rose, daughter of James Kelley Rose (son of Stephen Rose on October 3, 1869^{[4] [1]}
4. Lucy A. Killam born on 15 Aug 1846 ^[1], who ran a boarding house in 1911^[5]
5. Isaac James Killam born on 2 May 1848, who married Susan Whitman, daughter of Rev. Jacob Whitman on Sept 17, 1881^{[6] [1]}, and who died in 1919^[7]
