John Killens is Notable.

John Oliver Killens was an American fiction writer from Georgia.

John Oliver Killens was born in Macon, Georgia and was the son of Charles Myles Killens, Sr, and Willie Lee Killens.[1]

John aspired to be a lawyer and attended some historically black colleges, including Edward Waters College, Robert H. Terrell Law School, Morris Brown College, and Howard University.[2]
