Biography

James Monroe Killian was born on May 21, 1880 in Cline Twp, Catawba County, North Carolina, United States, son of Casper Elbaney Killian (1846–1911) and Rosanna Malinda Herman (1844–1899).[1]

Monroe (18) married Fannie Minerva Lael (19) (born on December 22, 1879 in Conover, Catawba County) on December 29, 1898. Their son was Arville Leonard Killian (1899–1961).

In 1910, Monroe was living in Clines, Catawba, North Carolina. [2]

Monroe died on December 15, 1940 in Conover, Catawba County, aged 60. He was buried in Saint Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery, Conover, Catawba County, North Carolina.[1]
