Winifred Killoran was married to Edward D. Brown, originally of Duluth, Minnesota. She was widowed when her son Edward was only three years old. It was at her home that both her Aunt Maria and her mother Winnifred lived when they were getting on in years and after her father John Killoran had died, so she lived in Toronto until at least 1915. [1]
There is a record for one female child born to Winifred and Edward Brown without benefit of a first name, which generally means that the child did not survive. [3]
In the 1921 Census of Canada, Winnifred Brown was listed at 28 Selby St. Toronto, Ontario, together with her son Edward (Ed. D.) in the house owned by William Prendergast, her brother-in-law and husband of her sister Margaret (Killoran). [4]
